I am having a technical problem

  • I'm not getting offered jobs. What do I do?

    Check the you have gone On Shift and tapped ‘Free’. If you are still not receiving any Hailo Jobs, send us some feedback from the app and we’ll get our technical team to take a look.

  • My app has crashed or frozen.

    If your app crashes, switch the phone off and then back on again and restart the app. You should then be able to log back in and pick up where you left off.

  • My app crashed when taking a payment.

    If your app crashes when you are taking payment, turn your phone off and on again to reboot and restart the app. If the job is still there, proceed with the payment but if the job has disappeared, send us feedback via the app as quickly as possible. Providing you have tapped ‘Take Payment’, the app will have recorded the job and the payment will still go through. Please make sure you have taken payment through Hailo, or an alternative method, before the passenger leaves.

  • My app isn't working as I expect it to - what shall I do?

    If the app isn’t behaving as you would expect (for example the app crashes, displays the wrong message, doesn’t accept payment, etc) then send us some feedback from the app. This is important because as well as your message, the app will send us plenty of other information that will help us work out what is going wrong. To send feedback tap Profile then Account. Scroll down to Feedback, tap and leave your message.

  • I've got a new phone, how do I re-install the app?

    Simple. Check any email or text that we have recently sent you and look for the link to download the latest version of the app. Alternatively get in touch and we’ll send you a link via email and text. All you have to do then is install it on your new phone and login like normal - there’s no need to re-register. If you think you may still be logged in with your old phone and can’t log out of it, get in touch with the Hailo Driver Team.

    For Android users visit the Google Play store and search Hailo Driver. From there you can download and install the app. For iPhone (iOS) users visit https://new-install.hailocab.com/ and click Download. Note for iPhone users: If you have a phone running iOS9 you may be asked to trust the Hailo app before you can open it. If so follow these steps: 1) Go to you phone's Settings 2) Go to Profiles 3) Select Hailo 4) Select "Hailo Driver 2" 5) Tap Trust Once done you can now open the app.

  • The sound is not working when I use the app, what can I do?

    There are a couple of things you can check if your app isn’t playing any sounds. Try the steps below and see if this sorts out the problem: On the app tap Profile. On the Profile page tap Account. Scroll down and tap Notifications. Tap Play Job Offer Alert and if don’t hear a sound, try adjusting your phone’s volume. If that doesn’t fix the problem try one of these, depending if you’re on iPhone or Android. iPhone Users Tap Settings on your phone. Tap Notifications. Scroll down and tap the Hailo app. Scroll down and make sure that ‘Sounds’ is set to ‘On’. Android Users Make sure your volume is turned up and any general notification settings are switched on.
